<description>I first want to thank you for commenting on my blog and responding to me. Next I find this concept of accountability intriguing. I can see by reading your posts on this subject in your profile section what accountability is all about. You know, being truthful, every good when taken to an extreme can and usually does become bad. In today's global economy and multi-nationals the business environment is not what it use to be. There are a lot of dynamics driving management and the corporate culture but the end result is to crack the whip and make employees work harder for less all in the name of competition and the &quot;company.&quot; Remember what I said about extremes. Just take a look at what Mattel and Disney are doing in China. In all honesty it really amounts to slave labor. Sure competence and hard work is what made America great. Not all companies pay their ceo's astronomical sums while every else tows the line. If your going to be in the arena its best to be accountable. When a nurse or doctor makes a little mistake it could cost someone their life. To tell you the truth everybody is getting it these days except the higher ups. The bad thing about it is not many of us can even talk about it. Just think of those poor soldiers who are committing suicide by record numbers and I don't have to tell YOU why. Well I think I've said enough.
