Limbaugh: Fail Obama

Rush Limbaugh Pigs It Up at Right Wing Rally

Conservative Talk Show Host Rush Limbaugh is at it again. (See reference)  His pseudo-fascist approach to the Republican Party is again showing signs of leading this country into a tempestuous scenario that we cannot afford any longer.  How can you "hope for President Obama to fail"?

I don't want him to fail.  We, as a country, elected Obama with the hope that he would take us in a totally different direction from the Bush administration, and to this point, I see his policies more centrist than liberal.  The TARP program was initiated by Bush and his economic team.  He started this disaster.  Now, Obama is forced to build his programs from it.

With the knowledge that a Democrat was likely on his way into our White House, Bush should have known that there was no reason to bail out the banks, etc.  That's an open ticket to the Blue Boyz of Politics to start centralizing government.  But, frankly, with the outrageous behavior of Laissez Faire policies, we have lost control of our own destiny.  I, as a "Joe the Plumber", have been isolated and controlled by a small percentage of this country's affluent.  It is completely outrageous that these people have also been undermining the ability of the banks and housing market to stand without a bailout.

I didn't think we should bail out the banks and insurance companies.  Their is room for market retraction.  We have entirely too many BIG banks.  There is room to move more of the money locally, and let the big banks start to fall by the wayside.  It is a simple consideration that any market in a free trade society sees eras of expansion and contraction.  This contraction is excessive because of the greed of many, but enabled by the Bush administration and the G.O.P.

Now, Limbaugh wants to call out Obama after 30 days?  We had 8 years of the idiocy of the ultra-right wing administration and cronies.  And I never want my President to fail.  Even if I don't vote for him, I have to trust that as a leader of this country he has the ultimate best interest of the citizens he represents.  But Rush wants the leader of the free world to fail.  Truthfully, that would spell the doom of this country in the global community.

We're already at a point where our popularity worldwide is clearly in jeapordy because of Bush, the bank/insurance failures.  If our President fails, we will fall to the levels of Russia, post-Soviet block.  Now Putin is clearly working to build the USSR back, and we're being used as pawns in his attempts. (More on this another time)

I listened to Rush Limbaugh during the 90's, because I didn't like having a lecher President in Bill Clinton.  I regurgitated his garbage, and didn't think for myself.  I was a GOP supporter, but I woke up when I realized that Clinton got us to a surplus in our economy and our GDP/GNP was expanding during his administration.

I also felt that Clinton was in touch with what "Joe the Plumber" needed.  I felt represented.  I never felt that during Bush's years.  I felt excluded, and as a moderate, I hate to be misrepresented, because I resemble the majority of this country.

So Rush, bite the bullet, realize that your extremism isn't worth it, anymore and get on board.  We need this President to succeed.  The United States cannot afford to be minimized and slide into a period of trivialism.  We as a People, need to believe that our country's system is worth a four year program and that at least the next year is worth waiting to see what turns out.  Then we can start the process to replace him in 2012, if he hasn't made a difference.  That is the process.  Your windbag self is nothing but a lunatic rant that I hope the general population of this country doesn't reflex like verbal vomit.  It has me quite concerned.  You might want to get the head examined to make sure that your cochlear implant didn't penetrate too deep.
